Virgil Fox Video -- Bach Fugue in D Major
I found the Virgil Fox video and picture in the Virgil Fox Legacy website, under chronology.
Cool organ recordings from the web. You should use headphones if possible, for two reasons: 1) It'll sound much better. 2) No one will have to know you are listening to organ music. Each black dot (bullet) represents a recording, so check em out!

This is SO GREAT!! He is so into it and makes the organ beautiful and electric at the same time. I have such a different appreciation now for the organ... thanks!
Awesome! Therein lies the point of this column. I hope others will give it a look/listen. I love how he stands up up on the pedal keys on the final note. It does nothing good or bad for the sound, of course, but the audience loved it. He used to get criticized by other organists for such unnecessary body movements, but Fox had the audience in mind, and understood that music is not only about the sound.
Mr. Fox is one of the best organists I have ever heard or seen perform. His technique is flashy, fluid, rhythmic, whole…utterly amazing! Because of Fox I try to sell the pipe organ to everyone in whatever way I can. Peace to Virgil Fox and his apprentices.
Quite! He does seem to frequent this page somehow.
While I love the dramatic way that Virgil Fox played, he almost plays this piece too fast, and I frankly really enjoy the tempo at which Felix Hell plays. Not to mention that Felix is playing on a better organ.
Those are some good thoughts! Thanks for checking it out!
